Modern hotel design

Perched on the side of a steep decline leading to the Kariba lake, the site offers spectacular views. Our hotel design concept was to maximise those views for all the occupants while maintaining privacy between the bungalows. This was achieved by spreading out the rooms both horizontally, and vertically along the slope. The reception and common areas lie above all the rooms and have an impressive infinity pool that follows the contours of the hill. The water merges with the view of the lake, forming a stunning blue backdrop for all occupants.

The individual rooms all have private balconies and external showers within nature in addition to the standard amenities. Wood and stone pervade the architecture blending seamlessly into the natural landscape also through careful use of vegetation.
